I've been to both Russia and Ukraine and I think it is easier to travel in Ukraine. You never have to worry about regration. In addition, you don't need a visa. If you are interested in mail order brides, I would not hesitate to go there. It really should not be about the place, but the girl. As for that, no I don't really see a difference. However, Shadow brings up a great point. The 'stans are a lot less traveled and the competition is probably less there.

I believe you don't need a visa for any visits to mail order brides in Ukraine, but....

I probably would not pick Belarussia because the current president seems hell-bent on closing the country to outsiders which might impact traveling to or from there in the future.

wxman's the "current mail order brides expert"... but apparently the ambiguous language means you can't stay more than 90 days in a six-month period, and the US consulate said that their experience has been that no prior visa was necessary. gary

Which Country is better?

All things considered, travel ease, visas (yours and hers), less possibility of scams, etc...

My answers are either Czech Republic and/or Slovakia. They're formerly satellite Soviet States, and are of Slavic decent; they're just not into primetime mail order brides biz...

But if you meet one....all mentioned easily applies...

I can't comment on your list.

However, in my experience, I discovered this:

Russians, generally, are more chauvinistic. I know more mail order brides who trash America who are from Russia than any other country. (Not all, no. But many Russians I know do not like America. At all.)

The relations with Russia were made worse by the Iraq war. OTOH, Ukraine was an ally, so in many ways relations between the two countries have improved.

This was very evident in the Ukrainian election in which America quickly backed Yuschenko over Putin's objections.

last I heard, it is faster to get a K-1 processed and get mail order brides here from Ukraine.

As for which is sexier, prettier, etc... that just turns into a big argument, so I'll pass... mail order brides questions
