That was my point, due to economic conditions your dollars (and Euros) are worth more in Belarus compared to neighboring countries. Living costs for mail order brides are lower as well.

I was able to get a flat in Minsk in January for $450/month (nothing special but very central) and might be able to get one for less now that I have more contacts. If you can do the same in Kiev please tell me how as it will be a great incentive to return there!

As for the cost of airfares it really doesn't make much difference if you are commuting from Australia. :)

My advice would be to visit each country and make up your own mind which mail order brides are the best. :cool:

Just off the plane from Minsk .Had 3 weeks there spent most of the time mail order brides I visited last year. NZ is just a bit far away this year so a cold winter with no money might change her mind ! So its back to making a few contacts for next year .To say Belarus is poorer than Russia and Ukraine may not be quite correct. If you can live in A 2 room flat with 4 people you can live a lifestyle not too dissimilar to any western country. But traveling abroad ,buying a flat .or being a fulltime homemaker is in dreamland for most. McDonalds is a real treat $4us is a days wages for a supermarket girl. This is why I love Minsk the appreciation levels are so great. But most mail order brides are not leaving because Mama is such a strong influence and from what they see on cable tv America, Britain are not much better than Minsk .In fact you would go a long way to find a better city than Minsk So Minsk girls are not desperate to get out and my experience is the agency mail order brides have their sights fairly high But I will still just go to Minsk as there is 2 million people there and I know my way around. mail order brides questions
