Where mail order brides are accommodating
- On the other hand the place should not be too awful, after all I have to live there. I am not expecting much here, but an old city centre with some charm, and not too much crime and pollution would be nice. So Grozny is out! Weather is not important. Neither hot nor cold climate bothers me.
From reading this mail order brides board I have come up with Chisinau in Moldova or Simferopol, Sevastopol, Kharkov, Dnepropetovsk or Donetsk in Ukraine as possibilities. Any comments on the strategy in general, the places mentioned above or other possible locations, especially in Russia, would be highly appreciated :) .

I would recommend Rostov-on-Don in South Russia. A city of around 1 million, relatively untouched from Western man, safe, cheap, plenty to do and see. I have been there a couple of times, along with other cities in Russia and simply there are beautiful mail order brides everywhere there and all the people I met there have been just awesome, friendly and accommodating.

There are a couple of English and American guys living there married to mail order brides - I could find their contacts if you decide to go there as they welcome Westerners for drinking sessions!

Consider Tver. Small enough to be comfortable, big enough so you don't feel like you are too far out in the sticks. About 2 hours north of Moscow and 6-8 hours (depending on which train) south of Petersburg.
A nice city with plenty of attractive marriage-minded mail order brides. Or, you can just date a lot if you like.

First of all, I would advise searching for mail order brides in Ukraine over Russia. It's becoming friendlier toward the Westerner, while Russia is always about to plunge into xenophobia and the Cold War never seems to be finally over. This is also evident in the visa policy. You do not need a visa for Ukraine for a stay shorter than 90 days, and it is very easy to get a longer one, while in Russia there are still secret areas where you are not supposed to visit. In Russia you must always register with the police wherever you go. The sheer number of mail order brides in Ukraine should be reason enough to go there.
