MAIL Order Brides - visas and children
I am not aware of the mail order brides K1 fiancee visa 90-day period extension after she arrives, nor have I heard of anyone doing this. This may be a helpful bit of information for many if this is indeed true. So if you could post a link as to where you read that, I am sure many will be appreciative.
Once you're married and had filed for her AOS, then you can also file for AP (advance parole). This enables mail order brides (and/or their children) to momentarily leave the US, and afford them permission/s for re-entry.
The last part of your question is simple enough. The term 'applicant' is actually your fiance. It's her visa (and her son's) that both of you are working on, so technically mail order brides are the 'applicant' not you (this will also be the case on the AOS).
I moved during our K1 fiancee visa processing, I didn't have any problem/s. Of course, make sure you filed a forwarding address notice to the USPS.
Lastly, I hope you like Kali, as I can almost guarantee both your future wife and step-son will.

I need to clarify that what I meant about the new K1 is that a new mail order brides K1 fiancee visa can be issued during the 90-day period, but it does not extend the original 90-day period.

Just a ? why would you want to start a marriage with only 2/3 of the marriage.
Yes if she has a child its part of the marriage. Myself I would need to ask what kind of a woman would not bring her child with her.
I believe you're just asking for bigger problems. After marriage you can apply for her to go back home. Not before marriage in U.S.
