MAIL Order Brides - play Mr. Romance
There is a nasty flip side to this mail order brides scenario that I've encountered in my visits to Russia. Just like anywhere else you will find women attracted more to a challenge than to romance. Yes, the mail order brides who are inexplicably attracted to that jerk that spends her money and treats her like dirt. The women who frown upon the gestures of a gentleman. You might want to woo such a woman, she might be sweet girl who in the long run would make a great partner, but that's a whole different game, and I don't recommend it.
So my advice: Go with the romance.

Matt123, with your last post you have really given this thread real credibility and a sincere approach, Mark does ask a good question I thought of after I finished posting my last visit here.
AS for me, I can fabricate a little romance in the beginning to... "Prime the pump" with a new budding prospect but if a guy is writing say 3 mail order brides and hopes to visit all three, ...what to do?
Play Mr. Romance with all three?

This thread has been helpful to me in reminding myself that in the same way a guy looks at a chicks pictures for visual confirmation and stimulation, the lady must reread letters that have romance for the same effect.
What's the Russian saying -
"Men fall in love through the eyes, women fall in love through the ears"
We always ask for the next photo from them, do we write them the letters that are worth rereading?

Interesting Thread.....
What made this process so interesting to me is that it takes the element of physical intimacy out of the question when you start writing to mail order brides. We are forced (thankfully I might add) to really get to know the heart and soul of the woman, and we must romance her through our words (written and over the phone). Once we land in her country, we must not forget that the romance and seduction of mail order brides does not end, but is now a chance to put our words into action. Or for the ones who do not speak of romance in their letters, it is the time to begin the romance in person.
